Terms and Conditions

Appointments

  • We operate a strict by appointment base only practice. Should you require an appointment, then please feel free to contact us, during opening hours, by either telephone, text, or through our page on Facebook.
  • All quoted prices ensure each client a VIP service and includes exclusive access to our grooming salon.
  • We encourage each appointment to only be for all dogs that are from the same household, but this is open for discussion at our discretion.
  • As a courtesy to all our customers, we attempt to send a free text reminder, on the day prior to appointment.

Time Keeping

  • Appointments are timed to each individual groom and this is to ensure that each groom is completed in a timely fashion and to prevent appointments from overlapping.
  • Immediate access to our grooming facilities will not be permitted until the given appointment time. Early arrival will mean the possibility of having to wait outside.
  • Collection of your dog is required on time and prompt according to your allotted appointment. (Charges may apply for late collections)
  • Late arrivals to appointments may result in your appointment being cancelled, due to time management issues having a knock-on effect to later appointments.
  • Arrivals that are over 15 minutes late to an appointment, will be deemed as a no-show appointment and charges will apply.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments

  • All appointment cancellations require a minimum 48-hour notice period. Cancellations under 48 hours may result in a cancellation fee. Cancellations within a 24 period will result in being charged for a full groom.
  • Any appointments that result in a no-show will be logged and full payment required immediately to cover all costs incurred by ourselves.
  • All charges are required to be paid within 48 hours of cancellation or no-show.
  • Should due to unforeseen circumstances I.e. Ill health or emergency, we may need to rearrange/reschedule your appointment. Notification of this will be sent by text message, along with a new proposed appointment for your confirmation.

Dogs Condition

  • In compliance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006, should your dog’s coat be matted to a state of discomfort to the dog, the coat will be groomed/clipped to a suitable length to alleviate discomfort or pain.
  • For grooms that require extra attention, a surcharge may be added to the cost of the groom due to extra ware and tear on grooming equipment and extra time added to the groom.
  • All dogs will be examined prior to grooming and any issues will be discussed with the owner, as permission will be required to address the dog’s condition, that is outside of a standard groom, i.e., matted coats, fleas, ticks and skin issues.

Health & Welfare

  • All dogs are required to be fully vaccinated, flea treated (From 13 weeks) and wormed prior to attending a groom, this is to ensure the health and welfare of all our customers.
  • As of May 2020, all dogs that attend a grooming session will be required to be Spayed/Neutered, prior to appointments, due to the health and welfare of the dog and its behaviour traits.
  • It is a requirement that all medical/health and behaviour issues are disclosed prior to an appointment being booked, as to ensure ourselves are prepared for any such issues that may arise whilst the dog is in our care.

Feedback

  • Groomers feedback is important to us, before and after each groom. This ensures that we will be able to collect and collate important information to determine how our customers would like their dog to be groomed.
  • For each groom and as standard practice, a full detailed report is given to the customer informing them of how the groom went. This is to highlight any issues or worries that arise from the groom and our assessment.
  • It is important and necessary that a brief discussion takes place with the customer post groom, to have the opportunity to discuss the contents of the detailed report issued.
  • With consent of the customer, it is standard practice to take before and after pictures of each groom, for record purposes and to be uploaded to our website and Facebook page.

Right to Refuse

  • We have the right to refuse a groom of any dog that shows signs of aggression which may cause harm to ourselves or others and the dog itself.
  • Should a dog show signs of aggression or behaviour issues, not disclosed prior to arrival, the session/groom will be stopped, and immediate collection of the dog will be required.
  • If signs of aggression are displayed, a muzzle will be used to prevent injury to ourselves and/or the dog.
  • Should your dog be unfit to be groomed due to ill health or injury, prior to appointment, immediate notification to ourselves is required.
